NEW YORK, NY (SMI-GLOBAL-FASHION FEB.02-07, 2025)-Curve, the leading B2B annual event for the intimate apparel industry concluded its 3-day Expo (Feb. 02-04,) with over 150+ brands from the US and international exhibiting the latest trends of the Lingerie and Swimwear industry at renowned Jacob Javits Center in the heart of the Big Apple.

 

Curve, known for its bi-annual coast-coast expo for the Intimate Apparel, Activewear, and loungewear collections and networking event for buyers and brands, closed-out the Fall/Winter2025 with an array schedule of speakers who consisted from fashion editors, merchandizing and marketing insiders, Bra Fitting Class workshops for all sizes and a Lingerie/Swimwear fashion show during the 3-days sponsored by Eveden.​

In addition to the sensational schedule of events at Curve, a special and by-Invitation Only live fashion show took place on it's Opening day(Sunday Feb 02,) featuring 18-Luxury brands with 50+ looks on the runway and full house of buyers, brands VIP's and press/media members in attendance at the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel.

Women Starlight had the opportunity to speak with couple exhibitors Theresa Schmid & Joyce Antepim (Sr. Development Managers) of LASCANA from Germany, and Emma Pake (Creative Director) of "PANACHE" from England and this is what they said about their brands:

Women Starlight/Alluring: What's your name, Title and Where's the Brand from & How long You've been exhibiting at Curve NY ?

 

Theresa Schmid: I'm the Sr. Business Development Manager of Lascana BrandGroup from Hamburg, Germany, and this is our first time exhibiting at Curve.The brand was founded in 2002, and We launched our US business in 2017, with an office in Jacksonville, Florida.

 

Women Starlight/ Alluring: What's the " Lascana" brand specialty and where is manufacture and designed ?

Theresa Schmid : Our brands sell women's clothing from Lingerie and Swimwear that are manufactured in different countries, several Asian countries, and our designs are made in Hamburg, Germany.

 

Women Starlight/Alluring: What can you tell us about Lascana brand, designs and where are your major markets ?

 

Theresa Schmid: We carry different styles on Lingeries from a mix of best sellers from Pierce Bras and some more functional products that we sell on our website: Pierce Bras, and Front Closure Lace Negligee, Multi Strap T-shirt Bras, Front Clasp T-Shirt Bras, Lace, Embroidered, Strappy Lace Thongs, Sheer Lace Sexy Top, Sheer Lace Lingerie, Embroidered Push Up BabyDoll and more products available on our website.

 

Our major markets are mostly in Europe from Germany, Switzerland, Austria and other EU territories nations and we sell in the USA since 2017.

Women/Alluring: How do you rate your brand in the Intimate Apparel Industry in terms of prize range for individual or a set;  medium, luxury or high-end and any specific demographics that Lascana Targets  ?

Theresa Schmid: We are a mass consumer product and price range varies since sell separate from $39.00-$49.00 for Bras in the US and our panties are $29.00 on average cost per set $79.00 in US dollars while Swimsuit set sells from $60 to $80.00 dollars. 

Our Demographic ranges from 35-60+ in most of our products but we also have a brand for younger audience in the 16-30, age group that are more stylish  called " LSCN" by Lescana.
